Abbi Mars and Tiffoni Stepney serve as Transition Facilitators for Family Matters Parent Training & Information Center (FMPTIC) and are both Charting the LifeCourse (CtLC) Ambassadors. Together, they support transition-age youth with disabilities, families, educators, and community partners by promoting student-centered planning and meaningful transition outcomes.
Drawing on the Charting the LifeCourse framework, Abbi and Tiffoni help students and families create a vision for a good life by identifying strengths, building self-determination skills, and connecting to supports that lead to successful adulthood. Through trainings, workshops, and individualized planning, they empower students to become active participants in their IEPs while helping families and professionals develop practical strategies that foster independence, employment, community inclusion, and lifelong success.
