Secondary Transition Planning for Students with Disabilities in Illinois is a practical, family-centered webinar designed to help parents, caregivers, educators, and professionals understand how to effectively prepare students with disabilities for life after high school.

This presentation explains Illinois-specific transition requirements, including the requirement to begin transition planning no later than age 14.5, and walks participants through the legal framework under IDEA, required IEP components, and best practices for meaningful, student-centered transition planning
