COMPASS Program
The COMPASS Program from Family Matters PTIC is a structured educational initiative designed to provide parents, caregivers, and professionals with a comprehensive understanding of special education laws, processes, and advocacy strategies. The program consists of ten structured sessions covering key topics in special education, including legal frameworks, evaluations, Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), behavioral interventions, assistive technology, and dispute resolution.
Each session is led by experienced professionals and includes instructional content, curated resources, and assessments to reinforce learning. The training is delivered via Google Classroom, incorporating a pre-test and post-test to measure participant progress
