The 2024 Virtual Special Education Parent Summit will bring together experts across the state to share information for parents, students, and guardians about special education services, system navigation, conflict resolution, and transition readiness. The collaborative conference will include presentations by the Illinois Guardianship and Advocacy Commission, Illinois DRS, Illinois Elevating Special Educators, Equip for Equality, the Arc of Illinois Ligas Family Advocate Program, the Family Resource Center on Disabilities, and Family Matters PTIC.
