  certified ESPs. If you are interested in becoming an Educational Surrogat
 e Parent\, you will need to complete the full five-hour ESP training rathe
 r than the refresher session.\n\nThe Educational Surrogate Parent (ESP) Pr
 ogram is administered by the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE). Fam
 ily Matters Parent Training and Information Center (FMPTIC) receives feder
 al funding from ISBE to provide training and ongoing support for both new
