Online Courses available:

An online course available regarding students with autism and transition.  This course does have a tuition and textbook fee.   http://www.worksupport.com/training/webcourses/autism_course.cfm

Pacer has developed two new videos that parents can access on PACER's web site at PACER.org.  "Special Education:  What Do I Need to Know?" is a 37-minute audio/video overview of special education created to help parents of children with disabilities understand what special education is, how a child might begin in special education, how to resolve disagreements, and what role parents play.  The presentation, also translated into Hmong, is funded in part by a grant from the Minnesota Department of Education.  A new 30-minute video called "Transition Planning for Children with Disabilities" gives a brief overview of the transition planning process for parents and families of children with disabilities.  Find both of the new presentations at:
